Admissions Criteria

  • A non-Korean citizen who wishes to learn the Korean language
  • An individual who has graduated or is expected to graduate from a high school (or equivalent)

Enrolment deposit CNY 8,600 (approx. KRW 1.6 mil., tuition fee for the first term of the regular program)
Enrolment fee CNY 4,200 (approx. KRW 790,000, students from sister universities are exempted)
After arrival Insurance, TOPIK registration fee, foreigner registration card processing fee, etc.
Total Payment of CNY 30,200 (CNY 26,000 for students from sister universities) upon enrolment

Procedure

  • By December 31: Prospective student submits the required documents
  • January: U1U applies for a student visa on his/her behalf (D-4: Visa for General Training)
  • February: Prospective student receives the visa and books a flight ticket to Korea
  • March 2: U1U’s Enrolment Ceremony
  • By July 1: Student acquires TOPIK Level 3 certification and D-2 visa (Visa for Regular Educational Program)
  • End of August: Student enrolls in a regular educational program

  • Obtain educational certificate notarizations via http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn/cn/ or http://www.chsi.com.cn.
  • In case the certificate of bank account balance is not under the name of the applicant, a copy of the applicant’s family register, a notarized English copy of the family register, and a confirmation document translated into English need to be submitted.
  • Obtain a certificate of bank account balance after acquiring the other required documents as it is valid for only 30 days.
  • In case the applicant is currently staying in Korea, he/she must present the original foreigner registration card.
